BIG Twan was forced to grow up early in the rough streets of East Point after losing his mother at age 14 then sadly his father at age 17. Instead of expressing his emotions criminally like many misguided young men BIG Twan choose music to release his feelings.

BIG Twan began his Hip-Hop music career at the age of fourteen as a dancer and a rapper. He continued to hone his rapping skills and perform at many events throughout the southeast U.S.

In 1996, BIG Tw@n then known as M.C. Twan released his popular Atlanta radio and club single "Ahh Suki Suki." "Ahh Suki Suki" was first aired on the radio by Ludacris then known as Hot 97 on-air radio personality Chris Luva Luva, So So Def's DJ Nabs and his co-host Poon Daddy. "Ahh Suki Suki" recieved regular club spins and Atlanta radio play on V103 and Hot 97 throughout 1996 & 1997.

In 2001, BIG Tw@n changed his name from M.C. Twan and co-founded the Hip-Hop group "2CRUNK.com" with his partner A.K.A. Tay. At the same time BIG Tw@n & A.K.A. Tay also launched a new Atlanta, Georgia online music community "www.2CRUNK.com" to promote their music and evolve the popular "crunk music" movement. www.2CRUNK.com grew to be an online community of thousands and received over 4,000,000+ hits.

In 2003, 2CRUNK.com released their debut album "Tight Like Gnat Booty, Hot Like Chicken Grease." The album featured popular Hip-Hop artists Sean Paul of YoungBloodZ and Big Floaty of Attic Crew. Majority of "Tight Like Gnat Booty, Hot Like Chicken Grease" was produced by BIG Tw@n but also featured production by Da Masta best known for producing Archie Eversole's hit single "We Ready." Also in 2003 2CRUNK.com Productions took over web design and Internet promotions for Big Oomp Records founding the online community BigOompCamp.com which had thousands of members and recieved over 1,000,000 hits. 2CRUNK.com had a TV commercial running on the popular Oomp Camp LIVE TV show weekly from 2003 to 2008.

During this time BIG Tw@n continued to perform as part of the group 2CRUNK.com for thousands in venues such as Panama City's "Club La Vela", Atlanta's "The Bounce, "Sweet Auburn Festival", Turner Field and many more opening for well known acts Bubba Sparxxx, Dungeon Family, Lil' Jon, T.I. and Jay-Z among others.

In 2005, 2CRUNK.com released their first mix cd "Crunk Meets 2CRUNK" mixed by Hittmenn DJ's DJ Feel-X followed in 2006 by their popular second mix cd release "Family Tree." The "Family Tree" mix cd featured Atlanta Hip-Hop stars D-Roc of the multi-platinum group Ying Yang Twins and his two brothers Da Muzicianz, AK of TI's group P$C, Loko of Big Oomp Records on five songs, Hot 107.9 Freestyle King Reggie P. now known as Black Boy of Game's Black Wall Street South and many more. Majority of the "Family Tree" mix cd was produced by BIG Tw@n but featured guest production on "We Still Smokin'" by Big Oomp Record's DJ Montay best known for producing DJ Unk's dance hit "Walk It Out", Flo Rida's "Get Low" and many other hits.

In spring of 2006 2CRUNK.com recorded their single "A-Town Snap" featuring Loko of Big Oomp Records. "A-Town Snap" recieved Atlanta radio mix show airplay on Hot 107.9 and was featured on many Hip-Hop mix cds. 2CRUNK.com also recorded a radio promotional "A-Town Snap" drop that was played on J-Nicks and ET's "Dirty Boys" Hot 107.9 radio show. Also in 2006 2CRUNK.com began hosting and promoting their own regular Hip-Hop club events at many Metro Atlanta venues acheiving an average attendance of 300+ grossing thousands of dollars with only Internet and street promotions.

Currently, 2CRUNK.com is promoting their new single ""Dat Lump Lump" featuring Kilo Ali produced by Shorty B, promoting events at popular venues in Atlanta, GA and working on a new mix cd.

A.K.A. Tay started rapping at the age of 17 converting his skills at writing poetry to rhyming lyrics over Hip-Hop music tracks. He was inspired to rap after being involved in promoting BIG Tw@n then known as M.C. Twan for years.

In 1998 A.K.A. Tay co-founded Southern Fryed Music Group with his partner BIG Tw@n and his mother/manager Princess Brown.

In 2000, S.F.M.G. released BIG Tw@n's debut solo album "M.C. Twan 2000+." The album generated tens of thousands of dollars in revenue on the most popular Internet music website at the time, MP3.com. At the albums peak popularity four different singles from the album topped MP3.com's Dirty South & Bass Top 40 charts sitting at #1 and #2 simultanously on both Top 40 charts with Lil' Jon's single "Bia, Bia" sitting at #3 on the Dirty South Top 40 Chart. Two of those singles "Dem Boyz" and "The Great Reefa Cheefa" featured A.K.A. Tay.

Currently, 2CRUNK.com is promoting popular venues in Metro Atlanta, filming an online reality TV show, working on a new mix cd, promoting their new single ""Dat Lump Lump" featuring Kilo Ali produced by Shorty B, promoting popular venues in Atlanta, GA and working on a new mix cd.
